The harbour has been divided into four precincts based upon land use and built form / landscape character.

Northern Harbour
Civic Harbour
Working Harbour
Southern Harbour

The design plan for Ulladulla Harbour outlines a series of works aimed at improving safety and amenity, plus connecting the town to the harbour, whilst ensuring that the requirements of the working harbour are maintained. These proposals have developed from the Ulladulla Town Centre Urban Strategy and Harbour Plan of Management.
