A new draft LEP is being prepared for the entire Shoalhaven City area with funding assistance provided by the State government’s Planning Reform Fund. The LEP will control development and guide planning decisions made by Council and will incorporate the strategic direction outlined in the Nowra Bomaderry Structure Plan and other strategy plans.
This new LEP will eventually replace the existing Shoalhaven LEP 1985 and will be consistent with the Standard LEP instrument (template) introduced by the State Government in March 2006.
It should be noted that the draft LEP is currently a work in progress and is not yet on exhibition for public comment. The following diagram provides an overview of the LEP process and its current status.

Note - At the request of the Department of Planning, these draft LEP zoning maps are in a 'working' format, and will be placed in a format consistent with the Technical Mapping Requirements for LEP Maps (August 2007) prior to exhibition of the draft LEP. These maps are in PDF format.
