Typical Community Recycling CentreShoalhaven City Council operates and maintains 5 Community Recycling Centres throughout the Shoalhaven.

The Community Recycling Centres provide an opportunity for residents and visitors to dispose of excess recyclable material, 24hrs a day at no charge.

Please note that at all Community Recycling Centres, except for East Lynne, paper/cardboard is NOT accepted and all recyclable material must be separated into material types eg: green glass, brown glass, clear glass, aluminium cans etc.

Garbage is not accepted at any of the Community Recycling Centres. Any garbage left at the Centres is considered to be an act of illegal dumping and as such, fines can and will be enforced under the POEO Act of 2002.

Our friendly staff will be happy to discuss any waste management concerns.
