Shoalhaven City Council straddles a broad, diverse and fragmented urban settlement area.  The numerous scattered towns and villages mean that many communities are relatively isolated.  During peak tourist times the population of the Shoalhaven  has been known to increase four-fold, and in the smaller holiday resort towns up to one hundred-fold.  The Waste Services Team have taken on this unique challenge to provide a reliable, efficient and economical waste service for the community.
